Historical introduction: prices, events and dates refer to the original publication.
Subscribers should already have the magazine in their letterboxes; for everyone else, we’d like to announce that the fifth issue of DR in this volume left the printers’ gates about fourteen days ago. To start with, you can enjoy an old wartime negative unearthed from the Sudeten soil beneath a ruined house, followed by Article A. Terms from the field of faleristics. F. will take you on a quest to locate the legendary Wogastisburg. Soukup. In his article, experienced treasure hunter Dutmann shares a few tips on how to search properly and what to avoid, whilst Zdeněk Jarchovský reflects on testing metal detectors. Researcher D. P. Minár, whose work we have already had the pleasure of admiring in several issues of DR, will this time introduce you to the history of the vz. 33 light tank. Zdeněk Urban’s charmingly morbid treasure-hunting short story Tutová lokalita fits the autumnal, melancholic mood like a glove. P. sent us a historical study on Terezín as part of the competition. Jína, similar to J. Jurčák’s recollections of his grandfather’s captivity in Russia. Incidentally, you will already be familiar with both authors from previous issues of the magazine. We hope that you will find at least something of interest in this fifth issue, whether it be the articles mentioned above or other pieces that I have not yet mentioned. These are the ‘Svátostky B’. Přibila, ammunition A. Gibiše, an article about the Adonis metal detector, or two reports from the metal detectorists’ competition in Tachov and from the Sudety 2008 event.
Adam Krejčík wishes you undisturbed reading and searching
