Detektor revue · 2007
A Czech print magazine, open to the world
Detektor revue has been published since 2007 and is the only Czech printed magazine devoted to metal detecting. Our subjects include coins, historical artefacts, field experiences, detecting equipment, archaeology and the people behind discoveries. The printed magazine is in Czech; these pages introduce the editorial team and selected issues to international contributors.
We value documented discoveries and the people who can explain their context. A small object with a well-researched story can be as interesting as an exceptional hoard. Our archive includes contributions and interviews involving finders from Denmark, as well as detecting features from Britain.
Your discovery. A new audience.
We welcome pitches from detectorists, archaeologists, museum professionals, numismatists and historians. Tell us what you found, how you documented it and why its story matters. You do not need to write in Czech: we will discuss the editorial preparation and Czech translation with you.
Authors receive a copy of the issue in which their contribution is published. We can also discuss further collaboration.
